Where is the creditors’ call published?

In the Swiss Official Gazette of Commerce (SOGC) on sogc.ch. The call is published by the liquidator once the company is registered as “in liquidation” in the Commercial Register.

When must the creditors’ call be published?

Immediately after the company is registered as “in liquidation”. Since 2023, only one publication in the SOGC is required.

How long does the liquidation take?

The liquidation usually lasts one year from the date of publication in the FOSC. It may be reduced to three months if a licensed audit expert confirms that all debts have been settled (accelerated procedure).

Can the liquidator be a shareholder or partner?

Yes, this is the most common case. It simplifies the process and avoids additional costs.
